Burning Resolution

Great book! The heroine is wonderfully snarky and The Who dun it isn‘t immediately apparent. The whole story definitely kept me on the edge of my seat. There wasn‘t a character introduced that I wouldn‘t read more about!

I generally read what I feel like reading and I never really have a plan. I usually don't look over what I've read at year end, but this year I did. I read 151 books and quit 14 others. I read too many 1-2 star books(would like to finish 0). A lot of books have been on my tbr since I started goodreads in mid-2015. I put a lot of those books on a tbr-2018 shelf. I also hope to finish some series and stop finishing 1 and 2 star books.

shahn77 @Dulcinella Yes. I find myself continuing to read thinking they will get better. I am going to try to quit at 50 pages this year if a book isn't working for me. We will see how it goes! 6y

Kaye Good luck . I think we‘d all like the healthy parts. I had to chuckle a bit about the hair post, only because I‘ve spent my life with really short hair. My family members used to make comments about my hair all the time. One day I just said that‘s enough I‘m sick of the comments, and I started letting it grow .It‘s halfway down my back now. I wouldn‘t let a pair of scissors near it at this point! It took too long to let it grow. 6y

Kaye Get rid of the scissors. Throw them away if you have to. I had to take mine out and f the bathroom. Too handy to chop on my hair if they are that close. (edited) 6y
