This is getting better and better. Lots of excitement in this installment of the last man. As i get deeper into the story, the more nuanced it is becoming and some very cheeky characters along the way of this journey.

You can feel this graphic novel is a bit dated, early 2000‘s I believe, but it holds pretty well.

There is a chance of tripling the male population on earth, as the astronauts left in the space station make a dangerous effort to try and return to earth….can they make it without help from earth, will they die as soon as the breath Earth‘s atmosphere again (after all, we still don‘t know why all the men on earth have died). Will Yorick finally have some male companionship besides his pet monkey? Can the ladies of Earth get it together?

Yorick may not be the last man on earth for much longer, with 3 astronauts hurtling through space to reach earth the male population might triple. The story continues to be gripping and fast paced, though I must say I‘m not that impressed by the art.

everlocalwest @GrilledCheeseSamurai I want to love it; I think my problem just comes from wanting it to be better (better characters, more well developed story and themes, more nuance) so I'm feeling frustrated. I would have loved this 15 years ago but now all I can think is, this isn't Saga, but Saga is the culmination of those 15ish years of development for Vaughan. Trying to be open to it and not too harsh a critic. 😸 6y
