How is Jane Austen's influence most noticeable in my home? Tea! I drink lots and lots of tea! Whenever I visit my best book friend up in Kansas, there's always stop at Brits in Lawrence. I stock up on tea and biscuits and just browse to see what's new in their Jane Austen section. ❤❤❤❤❤

Nute That‘s a cool-looking store. What kind of items are in there? 6y
Crinoline_Laphroaig @Nute Everything British. All sorts of tea things. British candy and snacks. Dr Who, Jane Austen, and Downton Abbey sections. Next door is another store sells products from all over the world. Lawrence, Kansas is a wonderful town. Great used bookstore - Dust Bookshelf & mystery book store The Raven. Every sort of restaurant you can imagine. Great beer at Free State Brewery. In another life I'm gonna live there.😉 6y
Nute Who knew? Sounds like I need to get there SOON. Thanks for clueing me in. 6y

rachelsbrittain My sister recently moved from Lawrence, and I immediately recognized this shop when I saw the picture of it! We used to stop in there sometimes when we would wander around Mass 6y

✨It's sort of becoming a thing that for holidays or birthdays, my parents get me some sort of tea set. This year was this mini tea set that's just the cutest dang thing I've seen. It also matches my mother's holiday dish set. ☕
✨Just because Christmas is over doesn't mean my booktree is coming down yet, either. 😆📚

Tamra Sweet! 6y

Loose-leaf Links is a feature where I gather together the interesting bits and pieces on sci-fi, fantasy and romance I've come across and share them with you over tea.

In news, nominations are open for the Vogels, the BSFA, and the Tiptree.

Loose-leaf Links is a feature where I gather together the interesting bits and pieces on sci-fi, fantasy and romance I've come across and share them with you over tea.

In today's news, there are a ton of markets opening for SFF writers. nerds of a feather are raising funds for Houston. And Tansy Rayner Roberts discusses fictional mothers.

This was a great find for me from the #librarybooksale yesterday. A nice retro (1987) book on tea.
Hmmmm, what to make first?
