Caught up and am ready for the newest Sharon McCone mystery (waiting for my hold to come in). I liked this one and getting to know Sharon‘s birth family a little better. I like how Marcia Muller brings in current day events into a great mystery.

Satisfying Sharon McCone mystery. Captures our current political climate even in traditionally tolerant cities (SF) and how insidious hate is empowered to be more open. Better than the last few books.

#TBRtemptation post 6! Soon to be released. I love this cover! This is the 32nd(!!!) installment in the Sharon McCone series. Either this is a good, popular series or Muller is obstinate 😆. Sharon's father, a well-known Shoshone Indian artist, is attacked by a mob while shopping for her, and he's left in a coma. With police coming up empty, she resolves to track down the attackers.
