I finished this book last night. I have been re-reading a lot of my books that I have had for a while. I did enjoy this book!!! It pulled at my heart strings and had me crying. It was a good book. I rated the book a 4 out of 5 stars!!!
“He stared back at her, knowing with certainty that he was falling in love. He pulled her close and kissed her beneath a blanket of stars, wondering ho on earth he‘d been lucky enough to find her.”
I didn‘t post a #BookReport last week, so this one is for the last two weeks.
I raced through Bridget Jones, didn‘t connect with Shuggie Bain and put it down after 70p. Then I read The Last Song and the second comic in the Amulet series. In between all this, I read a chapter a day in The Color of Law and finished it. Now I‘m reading Heaven, My Home. Seems like I need some easier reads or crime at the moment unless its nonfiction.
I love the movie featuring Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth, and I don‘t know how many times I‘ve seen it, so when I saw the book at the library I had to borrow it. And I‘m so glad I did. This was exactly what I needed know.
A book about Ronnie and her brother and her father, about family and first loves.
And those last 100p had me in tears just like the movie.
My #DoubleSpin this month is a library book and I‘m using this one for that
I always love a Nicholas Sparks book 🥰 I take my time going through all of his books because I just want to soak every word in. He's such a poet with words and always makes me feel every emotion he wanted to. Its amazing. If you haven't read his books, I'd say you definitely should start ❤
“ she‘s been awake for an hour, but she wasn‘t ready to face the day.”
What I just got done watching. Is it just me or the fact that miley and Liam are now married makes the movie better!!😍💖
Ronnie and her younger brother are sent to spend the summer with their distant father in Wilmington, North Carolina. It‘s quite the different atmosphere from New York, and while her brother may be happy for this summer vacation, Ronnie just wants to stay home with her friends.
Her dad works on a glass window for a local church, and Ronnie soon finds herself as the caretaker for a group of sea turtle eggs that lay by their house!
Loved it all!
Life, he realize, was much like a song. In the beginning there is mystery, in the end there is confirmation, but it's in the middle where all the emotion resides to make the whole thing worthwhile.
