I am pooped. I've been outside since 8 AM setting up and assisting at our companies 4th annual animal adoption and fundraising event. It was a very busy, warm, sunny day. 9 hours later, I am drained and happy to be home getting all the foster kitty snuggles now while I finish up my next #scarathlon book for #teamslaughter points. @Clwojick

I thought I‘d spread the 💓 for all the pets out there, adopted, and those waiting to be adopted, to those that I have now, and those that have passed away, to those that didn‘t quite make it into homes. I‘ve loved animals all my life, and can‘t imagine my life without them, right beside me at home, and it‘s such a privilege to have them as my friends. They aren‘t all as lucky. And since I‘m a rescue volunteer: #spayandneuter and #adoptdontshop 💖

RainyDayReading So far My family has adopted two dogs from shelters and hands down would do it again. Once I get my own place one of the first things I‘m going to do is find a shelter and take a loveable fur baby home with me 😊 I‘d have to be strict with myself though, otherwise I‘ll adopt every dog in the place haha! 6y

SandyW I'm right there with you. No need to buy a pet when there are so many animals that need a forever home. Our kitties always come from shelters. And they are always spayed/neutered. 😻😻 6y

TheBookAddict 😻the oldest of my four fur babies was adopted (Twinky, the one on my profile pic), Tookey was found as tinny stray kitten wandering on her own, and the two pups we recently acquired were rescued from a terrible situation. We‘ve been in and out of the vet the pups since we got them and they‘re doing way better. Sadly their other siblings didn‘t make it. I love my brats and definitely miss the ones that are no longer with me. 💕💕🐱🐶🐱🐶💕💕 (edited) 6y

kamoorephoto @Gissy I‘ll let it count as long as you promise me you‘ve given it lots of space and it‘s not in one of those tiny things that makes me want to rescue every one of them.... it breaks my 💔 when I see them at the store in those tiny containers. But yes it counts! My first fish was called Bertie and I was devastated when I set the temperature on his tank wrong... 🐠 6y

Gissy @kamoorephoto it is a spacious tank and he is around us because he is at the office. We installed an electric device that discharge food everyday at a specific time. His name is Dr. Darwin! 🐟 6y
