so-soWas hoping for a delightful read about the French countryside, but I did not enjoy the emphasis on objectifying women, excessive consumption of alcohol and the celebration of men‘s focus on money and what it can buy. One character was a bright light, the charming and creative, Ernest who was the majordoma for Simon, the ad executive. Librarybelle I honestly cannot remember, it was so long ago! The actor who starred in the Inspector Morse series was the lead in the film. That‘s about as much as I remember! 😂 2y
