This was absolutely zany and not at all what I thought I was getting. It read really fast for the length, but could easily have been shortened. Very formulaic, but engaging. Not bad. #lmpbc

I FOR SURE looked at what this book was about before picking it for #lmpbc & I didn‘t at all get what I was expecting, for a while every chapter was more surprising than the last. It was really fun, thrilling, strange.

CatLass007 Wow, he‘s still alive and writing books?! I read The Other Side of Midnight back in the 1970s and really enjoyed it, but I don‘t know if I ever read anything else by him. 1mo

If we go historical fiction the only book I have is the tagged book, 2 fantasy picks (I have others but they are way over recommended page count, if no one minds and we pick fantasy I can pull some others) 2 thriller choices, I have 100000 thriller options these looked really bingeable though

BethM I‘ve not read any these. Doomsday Conspiracy pulls me in the most. I‘m also ok with the group ending up on eclectic genres instead of one genre. 2mo
