Blood Brothers
Blood Brothers: Sign of Seven Trilogy | Nora Roberts
In the town of Hawkins Hollow, it's called The Seven. Every seven years, on the seventh day of the seventh month, strange things happen. It began when three young boys-Caleb, Fox, and Gage-went on a camping trip to The Pagan Stone. And twenty-one years later, it will end in a showdown between evil and the boys who have become men-and the women who love them.

This is my 3rd book for #SummerEndReadathon @TheSpineView &#RushAthon @DieAReader @Andrew65 @GHABI4ROSES This is a great beginning to a series, #SeriesLove23, 3 boys who end up bringing evil to their town. Now grown men meet 3 women who find themselves in the said town trying to figure out how to end the evil. Along the way, there are romance with steamy scenes. 2 spots for #ISpyBingoSept @Clwojick @TheAromaofBooks

A different read for a Nora Roberts, but I enjoyed this horror/suspense/romance. The first book of a trilogy and I will be checking out the rest to see how our intrepid protagonists conquer the demonic presence in their small New England town. Witches & Demons for 3 points for #TeamStoker for #Scarathlon!

I first read this book in high school when my sister's boyfriend's mom lent it to me. When my own mom found out it was about magic and had demons, she strongly encouraged I not finish the trilogy. Can you tell it's a running theme from my early reading years? Anywho, I reread it and now I can't wait to finish the trilogy! This was just as good as I remember it being!

Norah Robert's trilogies have a very set pattern but I still enjoy them immensely. I look forward to reading books 2 and 3.

I listened to this book, narrated by Phil Gigante. He is a horrible narrator. The lawyer sounded like a doofus beach bum. All of the women sounded like ditzes and the other men just sounded like douchebags.

The story was predictable and while the storyline was good, it was too similar to the one in Roberts‘ Cousins O‘Dwyer trilogy. Its as if she didn‘t get the storyline right in this one so she perfected it in the latter.

BlameJennyJane Futzes and douchebags are a real turnoff for me too! And narrators make all the difference. There are stories out there that may be great and I‘ll never know because they were so annoying I couldn‘t stick around. 5y

Just finished all three of the Blood Brothers series by Nora Roberts. They were a surprise. The couples were strong, for sure, and the romance was present. But the main plot was all about killing an ancient demon. It really had me until the last book, and then the demon got a little tiresome. He/it was still threatening, I just kind of lost the urgency. Anyway, well done series. Not my fave Roberts series of all time, just an entertaining read.

TheBookgeekFrau I just love your photos! I admire the time you take to set up your shots -hat‘s off to ya 🎩 6y
SEWhite @C.Perone haha thank you, but I steal them from my instagram feed. So I'm only setting up once, but getting two pretty pictures out of it. 6y
TheBookgeekFrau Ain‘t no shame to that lol - one really good set up is all that‘s needed 😊 6y

I little bit of #TBT tonight! About 5 years ago this week I was finishing up 2 first-of-series books. A creepy little Romance/Horror trilogy by Nora Roberts and this Paranormal/Urban Fantasy series The Hollows by Kim Harrison. I can say that I finished both series over the intervening years, and both are completed series now. I do however still have a prequel novel that was recently released for The Hollows, that I'll get to....eventually. 😉
