Not one, but two mentions of scones in O Caledonia so far. Clearly, I'm highly suggestible. Not pictured: some strawberry jam bubbling on the stove that Lucy has deemed "heavenly."

Why are there so many yellow things on my counter? I have no idea; inadvertent yellow produce buying kick, I guess.

DeborahSmall Looks great. Not unlike my fruit corner, in the kitchen. I can't live without lemons 🍋 and with my husband and son being sporty we always have bananas 🍌💕❤️ my favourite scones are cherry scones x 7y

DeborahSmall I find cooking is relaxing, at least the preparation process. My sister is a chef and has also specialised in pastry, she lived in NI for 11 years but was selfish enough to split up with her wife and go back home to Glasgow last year. I sometimes think I miss her food more than her 😂💕 7y

Some days, one just gets a hankering for donuts. 🍩 Then one may recall that she eats #paleo. 🙅 Ah, but one takes heart because there is Against All Grain (the best cookbook ever) with a deliciously autumnal, paleo-friendly donut recipe! At some point, one also remembers her lack of donut pan and decides to make them pumpkin muffin-shaped instead. 🙃
