After Stella disappeared in the first part of this series her aunts are sending her far away to an old family house. Not really a house but more a ruin of a house. She should life there with her cousins and should learn for school.
Since her appearance at this house strange things happen, doors are slamming, she gets hurt and you can guess, there is something happening.

Sarah83 Even if the second part isn't bad, I liked the first one and it's story more. The second one isn't a fluent read for me and at some point I wasn't interested in the development any longer. The ending was ok, but the second disappointed me after the first one. 5y

Spending the Sunday on the couch, watching Elementary and reading the tagged book.

Until now I liked the first book more. The second one is scarier and darker than the first and there are too many influences that irritated me. 🙄

rubyslippersreads I have the first one on my TBR list. 5y
Sarah83 @rubyslippersreads the first one was pretty nice 💕 5y

So after the book buying, I need to return to my books... 😂 I want to finish the tagged book tomorrow.

Still in a 'Dutch' mood, I found some fitting biscuits and a similar mug... Also bought these little shoes today... 🤩 #booktownmakesmehappy #stressisdisappearing

By the way, is anyone interested in the books I bought? 😂💕

julesG What a question is that? Of course do we want to see your haul. 5y
Tamra How was Withering by Sea? 5y

Don't participate the readathon, because I have to work on Monday. But still want to finish my last challenge for this year. I need to read this book so I will hit my pages stats. 😏🤩😍

Feeling all Harry Potterish as I start book 2 of Stella Montgomery. Love the green ink illustrations.

What a gorgeous book! I loved finding out more about Stella's past as she looks for answers that nobody seems willing to give her - all she has to go in is a old photograph. Wormwood Mire was an amazing setting, (although I did miss the Hotel Majestic a little as well as all the friends that Stella made in the first book). The illustrations are divine, the closer you look the more details you see. Looking forward to more!

All right, let's talk about my burger from Major Toms A Burger Junkie... I had the delicious vegetarian 'Thursdays Child' which contains a mac'n'cheese croquette, tomato, lettuce, 2 cheeses, ketchup and mayo 👌
hands down one of the best burgers I've had!

My Friday night has been pretty tame tho - I've just woken up from my post dinner nap and am now sulking about the return of my sore throat 😞

Time to get back to Wormwood Mire!

Seekingtardis Aaaaaand I think I'll make burgers for dinner now! 😍😂 but I don't think mine will be anywhere as awesome as that one!! 7y
KarenUK Feel better 💐💕 7y
thegirlwiththelibrarybag @Seekingtardis, I'm not sure how one goes about making a mac'n'cheese croquette but it was amazing and delicious! Burgers for dinner is an excellent idea ☺️ enjoy! 7y

GlitteryOtters Mac & cheese croquettes are one of the finest culinary inventions. That sounds AMAZING (also, I need to teach myself how to make croquettes as my vegan mac & cheese would be of the perfect type for a good mac & cheese croquette). I've only had them deli-purchased, back in my vegetarian days, but I am reasonably sure I could make them myself...🤔 7y
thegirlwiththelibrarybag @GlitteryOtters, croquettes made of mac'n'cheese have opened up a whole new world for me! But yes, learn the ways of the croquette! And then you'll be able to recreate this burger! 7y

Gorgeous books + Bowie burgers

TheLondonBookworm 😍😍😍 so very jealous right now 😊 7y
GlitteryOtters Jumping in my teleporter to head on over there, just because I am in love with the restaurant's name! 💕 7y
thegirlwiththelibrarybag @GlitteryOtters, isn't the name grand! While their vegetarian options are excellent, there is no mention of vegan alternatives. Still jump in that teleporter tho, Melbourne is obsessed with food and cafes so you wouldn't go hungry. 7y
