Some by theme, some purely by color. I confess to first using books already uploaded to my canva account, because I'm lazy. 😂

Liked this, I just wish these wouldn‘t keep ending on cliffhangers/with things unresolved!

K.J. Charles is just so WALLOWSOME, y'all. I sank straight into this enemies-to-lovers romance/mystery, and marvelled at how organically she takes the heroes from loathing to respect to genuine affection (with plenty of lust in evidence during each stage). As is typical for her, the romance slots smoothly into a high stakes plot that continues the mystery from AN UNSEEN ATTRACTION, and the characters grow while remaining firmly themselves.

I went to the Liquor Mart for fruit beer but instead came away with this Hopfenlager by Beau's Brewing Co from the clearance display. (It was the last bottle, which I took for a good sign.) It was a reasonably good accompaniment to the first third of AN UNNATURAL VICE, but I wouldn't rush to buy it again. #bookandbeer

“But he really did hate tears, and snot and the obligation to offer sympathy.” I‘m reading these backward due to library access but knowing what happens didn‘t affect my enjoyment. 💜💜💜💜#romantsy

Lovely. Charles has such a beautiful way of writing. I liked that Justin is completely unapologetic in who he is. #enemiestolovers #romantsy

candyflossramparts Love her stuff! Adding this to the (already unwieldy) stack. 7y

Enemies to lovers. I hear that one of the heroes is quite devious and sometimes hard to like. My kind of character. #currentlyreading #romantsy #historicalromance

I can always trust KJ Charles to get me out of a reading slump. What a great leading pair, and I love the ongoing mystery that threads through the trilogy. The series takes inspiration from Victorian penny dreadfuls and it's delicious.

dylanisreading Love KJ Charles. 7y
