I finished this collection of 7 Christmas stories on audio. I listened to:
A Faraway Smell of Lemon

Christmas Day at the Airport
The Boxing Day Ball
A Snow Garden
I‘ll Be Home for Christmas
Trees

All the stories is about family and feels very real. These stories doesn‘t romanticize Christmas.

My favorite is the one at airport. This feels like a modern retelling of the Christmas Story.

A lovely collection of quaint short stories set over the Christmas period. Beautifully written and easy to read, these stories have put me in a festive mood. It wasn't perfect, but still a very good 4 stars.

Finished my first book for #24in48 and definitely recommend it. The quote from the Guardian on the front is spot on. This had me laughing out loud, shaking my head, giving me lumps in throat and tears in my eyes. Perfect if you enjoy short stories with beautiful writing and emotional depth.

Loving this collection of short stories, but I'm going to stop as I want to savour them instead of rushing them. #24in48

I picked this as one of my #24in48 books and started reading it at the library this afternoon just to see if I liked it. Well I loved the first short story and can't wait to read the rest. The writing is wonderful 😊
