@emilyrose_x had this lovely idea to share our favourites each day in December to count down for Christmas 🤶🏻

I‘ll start with one of my favourite reads this year. It was such a profoundly moving book, the characters will stay with me for a long time.

What a wonderful stay in Paris, one of the best books I've read this year. The characters will live with me for a long time. A profoundly moving read.

This is the story of an orphaned Arab boy, Momo, which grows up with Madame Rosa, a survivor of Auschwitz and retired 'lady of the night'. The novel earned France's premier literary price, the Prix Goncourt. Beautiful book ❤️

I am really enjoying my stay in #France. Momo and Madame Rosa are introducing me to their whole neighbourhood in Belleville, and there truly are some eccentric people here. Momo is such a lovely little boy. I have a feeling this just might be my favourite stay so far for my #BackpackEurope trip.

Tanisha_A Love this collage! 12mo

Wan.der.love There‘s a great animated film called “The Triplets of Belleville” - quirky French movie I always think of when people mention Belleville 😄 12mo

After really taking my time in Germany, I decided it was finally time to move on. On my way to Paris and #France as we speak, yay!! Really looking forward to exploring the rural parts of Paris with Madame Rosa and Momo, I think it will be a memorable stay.

#neuimRegal #Neuerscheinung #EditionBlau #rotpunktverlag #Rezensionsexemplar https://rotpunktverlag.ch/titel/du-hast-das-leben-noch-vor-dir

Romain Gary won the Goncourt Prize twice under two pseudo. One as Romain Gary and one as Emile Ajar. Ajar's novel is a masterpiece. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️#awardwinning #booktober
