so-soI enjoyed this one but it was a little predictable. The characters were solid but a bit meh. The story did keep me reading, but maybe I wasn't in the right mood to love it.

pickIf you like contemporary romance at all, I highly recommend this one. James is a go-to contemporary romance author, but this one might be her best yet! Definitely lots of romance, but also a fully fleshed-out FBI plot that's really interesting. The main characters feel very believable, and she completely delivers on the top-notch witty banter she's known for.
