It finally arrived and strawberry picking this morning was a huge success! Happy Sunday! 🍓🌞📚
So excited to hear Elizabeth Gilbert live tonight!
The comfort reading continues - although the week ended better than I hoped 😃 Happy Saturday! #booksandflowers
Slow start this morning after too much fun last night, but I‘m recovering and ready to introvert and read the rest of the long weekend - starting with this one! Happy Saturday! #booksandflowers
Happy Sunny Saturday! #booksandflowers
This concept is worth a NYT opinion piece?
Dropping everything to read this one!
Proof that we can all come together and care about each other. I was pretty teary through most of it, but in a good way. #booksandflowers
It is insane that this book is non-fiction!
This week was week 1 of my local flower spring csa so it really feels like spring is here 🌷🌞 #booksandflowers
😂🤨😂 but I still bought it!
First five star read of the year for me. It was thought provoking for my own professional reasons, made me contemplate my own therapist-patient relationship, as well as making me both snort with laughter and cry ugly tears.
Happy Saturday evening! I‘m almost halfway through this one and I have mixed feelings so far ...
Awesome delivery day! Super fast #BOTM and my new entryway rug!
Happy Saturday! #booksandflowers
Horror is not usually my thing but the thriller aspect of this outweighed the horror elements and it had a romance layered on top as well as some fun formatting. Fantastic, all consuming, Sunday afternoon read! (It has only been sitting on my shelf since 2 #cupidgoespostal rounds ago 🤦♀️ @Sweettartlaura )
Yay! Thanks so much @kellyann28 for the amazing #cupidgoespostal package. I ❤️ the flower jar and flower theme and can‘t wait to wear the scarf today! The tagged book has been on my TBR forever so now I must read it and the other two books look fantastic! Happy Valentine‘s Day! 💕💐
Also a big thanks to @BookishMarginalia for another amazing job of organizing a fun swap!
You can find me here for the rest of the day, listening to the sleet at the windows, until this evening‘s Pats game! #winterstormreadathon
The tagged book was EXACTLY what I needed this evening. Amusing but bitting and sadly way too on point.
I am saving the book in the background for tomorrow evening.
It‘s such a pretty cover, but in keeping with my bookish New Years resolution, I‘m bailing on this one. I‘m okay with switching points of view and different time frames but it‘s literally every other paragraph that changes - too jumpy!
This article made me chuckle this morning:
Millennial, Book and Candle https://nyti.ms/2H7WOkQ?smid=nytcore-ios-share
I have been having this unfounded fear that my 5 year old Kindle Voyage will die on me in the middle of my beach vacation next month. We spend 80% of the vacation just reading so that would be a nightmare! So I broke down and upgraded - my new paperwhite arrives Wednesday 🤦🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ (Picture from last years trip)
Took a reading break to finish setting up my 2019 bullet journal. I am going to track the books I buy this year, both Kindle and hardcopy, and check off when I actually read them - I am assuming this will be an eye opening experiment. 🤑🤦🏼♀️ I also only gave myself 2 pages. 😂😂
I loved Beartown so much that when I realized I was super early to yoga this morning I was thrilled I had time to run to the bookstore to buy A Man Called Ove.
