This book was freaking AMAZING! I laughed and I cried hard. It opened my eyes and tugged at my heart.

charminglysimple I loved this book so much. I actually listened to it on audio and hearing Trevor Noah's voice read parts. It made me cry too and gave me such a respect for him more than just a funny comedian! 9y

This book is amazing! I can't believe his childhood and what life was like for him. I'm listening to his audiobook. I think sometimes audiobooks don't get enough credit. Listening to Trevor Noah read his own words brings a nuance to the book that I think would be missed if I were simply reading it. And hearing the correct pronunciation is very helpful.
