I‘ve been more excited about these Cassiopeia Vitt stories than the Cotton Malone series for some time now. I‘d love to see a full novel focusing on her and Stephanie Nelle with Cotton in the background.

Another Stephen King book to keep in my collection. It had me hooked from the get go. Some might think it is a re-hash of a certain movie but I liked it a lot.

I thought I lost this book and found it under another pile of books. I liked it but the ending was a little anti-climactic for me. I think there should‘ve been a better explanation about what happened to the others afterwards. It just kind of ended without any closure for me. :)

I love books like this. The type that show you the things that nobody knew what was going on in the background. It also shows how inept the US government was at containing the pandemic.

I really enjoyed this book. There are a couple of creepy stories, as one would expect from Mr. King, that could be a Netflix series and the author notes about how he comes up with them is funny and informative. Especially the Holly Gibney and Chuck stories.

I liked this book but it took me a while to finish it because I misplaced my Kindle. I love the concept of time travel in this book. It was different. I wish there was a “so-so/pick” option.

This is a good read. There are a lot of POVs, and it is kind of slow at the start but you‘ll be rewarded if you stick with it. Although the ending left something to be desired I‘d still read it again.

I love the idea that the author wrote himself into this book. A cool idea and a good book. Right up my alley.

Still one of my favorite titles in the Star Wars expanded universe. I don‘t like the fact that much of the stories are not considered canon anymore or have changed but still entertaining.

I‘ve enjoyed Mr. Offerman‘s other works and I‘m a big fan of his work but this one was a little flat for me. Still entertaining at times though and will give you a good Ron Swanson giggle at times.

I loved it. Great writing. For the most part, it takes place in my hometown, Cherokee. It is full of truths that some on the rez won't like, but it is something that is rampant everywhere. I could see many people I know in the character descriptions. It describes things, places, & people on the rez that the tourists don't see or want to see. It is a heartbreaking & truthful story, but great writing tends to do that. I highly recommend this book.

A “cozy mystery” is right. For a good, quick read I recommend this series. I‘ve only read the first two in the series but so far I‘ve liked both. Chester is doggy friend we all need in our lives.

This book was a gift from an aunt a few years ago, she‘s the one that got me reading the works of Ron Rash. This one of the books I recommend or give as a gift to readers I know. It is collection of short stories that get better with time and that you can pick up for a quick read every now and then.

This is a book I read every couple of years because it‘s one of my favorites. Black Mountain is a little over an hour from where I live. My sister-in-law played basketball at Montreat College. This is one of the books I gift to avid readers or suggest when someone asks for book recommendations. Is it the most well written book, no, but it‘s entertaining, terrifying, and will make you think about reliant we are on technology for everything.

I've heard/read many stories regarding Bigfoot, and I want to believe, but I also hope it isn't real, just for the fact I know how we'll be when/if we do find a live specimen. It/they will be either killed or in a zoo.
I loved this book. I couldn't help but keep reading, and the last two chapters are where it all comes together. I had to re-read them to make sure my mind could create the correct picture. Max does it again!

As a history buff, some of the things in this book I‘d had read or heard of before. It‘s easy to forget that the Civil War began just a few weeks after Lincoln was sworn in as president, and you could argue his election was the catalyst. A very good read if your interested in history.

I loved this book! I love these stories of Cassiopeia Vitt more than I have the Cotton Malone series lately. I think there needs to be more on her, and, as I've said before, Stephanie Nelle. The collaboration between Steve Berry and M.J. Rose for Cassiopeia has been perfect so far for me.

I liked it but it isn't one of my favorites by Brad Meltzer. There was a nice twist at the end and the cameo of Beecher White was a nice touch. If you're a fan of Brad Meltzer then I recommend it but if your a casual reader of his work then you may not like it.

Pillar to the Sky is an excellent read. This book has a little bit of everything even if you're not a fan of science or science-fiction based books. Climate change, NASA, solar energy, and politics are all a part of the dynamics in this book along with the determination of humanity to reach for the stars.

If you're a fan of the Cotton Malone series, then I recommend this book, if not then you may be lost when it comes to some of the characters and their backstory. The overall plot of the book is good, but this isn't the best in the series. If you a fan of Steve Berry and Cotton Malone I recommend it but if you haven't kept up with Cotton's adventures then I would say skip it until you're caught up. Still a good book for fans of the series though.

Reecaspieces I think he needs to move away from Cotton. This series has gotten blah for me 5y
midath75 I'm at the very beginning of that same feeling. I'd like to see more stories around Cassiopeia or a backstory on Stephanie Nell. (edited) 5y

As a history buff, some of the things mentioned in this book I had read about before but this goes more in-depth into the conspiracy and participants. One thing that caught my attention was all the places/things named after Tryon. Including Tryon, NC, which is about an hour from where I live. Very good book.
