October is the perfect time to re-read or check this comic out for the first time! Our Final Halloween is a wonderfully blood-pumping, anxiety-inducing tale that really comes to life through the extremely vivid colors of the illustrations. If you‘re looking for a great Halloween read, look no further…

Per usual, I‘m so excited to take part in this book tag to look back on what my year of reading has been like so far.

Picked these up at The Dollar Tree today! They only had one blue one that had READ on it. There is also another that has INSPIRE on it and those come in the same colors. I may go back and get a blue INSPIRE to go with the READ. They are heavyweight metal. For $1 each it is great quality.

Angela of Musings of a Literary Wanderer recently posted an awesome discussion post, What Makes You DNF A Book, that really got me thinking.

I already have a DNF Policy for myself, though the word “policy” is used rather lightly here. But what makes me DNF a book? Well, there are MANY things. Here's my list:

Screechers by Kevin J Kennedy and Christina Bergling is an action-packed post-apocalyptic novella filled with terrifying creatures and bloodshed, but also a heartwarming friendship.

I could not put this one down. So be prepared if you pick this up; you may want to set aside a couple of hours because you may get totally sucked in like I did!
