Look at me, finally jumping on the bandwagon. I've been waiting to get my hands on this since like, January, when I was rejected for an ARC 😭 It's just as good as everyone is saying y'all, in fact, it's even better. Sad and funny and so entirely different from anything I've read before.

God, I love these people. Literally all I did was complain in a tweet about how my book hadn't shipped yet

It's spring break so, shocker, I'm already on to the next book! This isn't my usual type of read, but I heard such great things about it on Book Riot's "All the Books" podcast (which is my fave, btw) It's possible that it was recommended by @Liberty although don't quote me on that! Anyway, I'm on page 20 and I like it so far.

Pickpick

"We are all migrants through time."
I technically have about 15 pages left but I know this is an amazing book.

Spending my morning in bed with this little cutie on audio. Eat, Pray, Love is one of my favorite books of all time, and I love Liz Gilbert. She talks about the magic of creativity and ideas... literally magic. I'm obsessed with it.

And a FUN read for this weekend? Technically I've been reading it all week but I'm gonna finish it probably tonight. I've been in a bit of a reading slump and this is helping me a lot. It's just the right breath of fresh air after all my 500+ page sweeping family immigrant stories 🤣

A little read for school this weekend... Have any of you read Hedda Gabler? We're reading it this weekend and seeing the play next week!

Humoring my hygge-obsessed mom and taking a little read through this little beauty. I'm not gonna lie, I think I might love hygge.

Feat. my small dog, lol.
I am seriously loving this one. It's slow going because I'm so busy at school but it's definitely worth it.

cpreja One of my all time favorites. I love Zadie Smith! 7y

A lovely little pick up from the library yesterday! Tons of essays about feminist issues. Interesting as a feminist and also interesting as an aspiring creative nonfiction writer. I love reading all the masterful essays and dissecting how they were put together.

zsuzsanna_reads What do you (want to) write about? I love hearing about other people's projects! 7y

My very first BoTM club pick, PACHINKO by Min Jin Lee 😍😍 I'm about halfway through and I am literally obsessed. If you don't know, it's a multi-generational story about a Korean family living in Japan/Korea starting in 1910. I think I could put this book down for years and pick it back up and still remember every single detail. It's masterful.
