I really enjoyed this book! So much information and so much to think about as we grow as people and as we bring up our children in today's chaotic world....

This book was AMAZING! I simply couldn't tear myself away from it. The writing is beautiful, the story is captivating, and the ending - perfect. Highly recommend!

Loved this book! Can't say enough good things about it -- it was funny, it was sad, it was poignant and it was relatable. Pick pick pick!!!

People love to say, “Give a man a fish, and he‘ll eat for a day. Teach a man to fish, and he‘ll eat for a lifetime.” What they don‘t say is, “And it would be nice if you gave him a fishing rod.” That‘s the part of the analogy that‘s missing.

A must read for anyone who has an elderly person to take care of... and anyone who works in healthcare... and anyone who is growing older themselves... so literally -- everyone. It's very insightful, educational, and eye-opening. Warning: if you've has to deal with cancer (yourself or through a loved one) -- it's quite triggering... but overall I can't recommend this book enough!

Was preparing for an important presentation at work and noticed this book in my library (in an audiobook format). Halfway through the recording I bought myself a hard copy! It isn't perfect (as in -- dont think that you'll be ready to do a TED Talk immediately after just reading it), but it has really great pointers, suggestions and examples, and helps develop an interesting approach to presentations of all levels.

I am loving this book!!! So many great quotes... but so far this one is my favorite, "I want to be around people that do things. I don‘t want to be around people anymore that judge or talk about what people do. I want to be around people that dream and support and do things." #amypoehler #yesplease

This book is simply fantastic! It's an easy, relatable read intertwined with very deep, complex psychology theories. It will make you laugh, cry, and feel like 'wait, that had happened to me too!' Worth every minute you spend reading it (and the audiobook narration is fantastic too!)
