Because I finally had time to read on vacation! I got through the first four books of this series which is absolutely wonderful :) The writer I fell in love with him for his Kingfountain series and this just continues my infatuation with his story telling and world building!!

A fascinating walk through the golden age of comics in America during World War II. The book follows two cousins as they create the character “The Escapist”. A fascinating story, though a bit slow a times.

A perfect way to warm up on a chilly Saturday morning. This is their second collection of short stories(the first being: water) and I absolutely love some of the selections from both of these books. It‘s perfect for a day when I want to read but don‘t have time to dive into a long novel!

I think this is officially the 5 zillionth time I‘ve read this book, and I still manage to entertained every time. What is there not to love about a man stuck on mars trying to “science the s**t out off things”. Book one of the new year!
