1. I read whatever catches my eye first when I‘m looking for a new book, unless I‘m looking for something specific.

2. I don‘t use public transit but I listen to audiobooks in my car.

3. Not much distracts me from reading unless the book hasn‘t drawn me in. The number one way to tell if I don‘t enjoy a book is if I‘m not engrossed.

4. Cucumbers!

While this book gave me definite “The Tenth Kingdom” feelings, it was a quick and enjoyable read. I‘m a bit (a lot) ahead of the intended age range but I didn‘t find many “that‘s just not believable” or “I rolled my eyes so hard I saw the back of my head” moments. It was fun, and I‘ll be passing it down to my 10 year old nephew. #MG #fantasy

This book is so engrossing (once you get past the lead up to the disaster) that I bought the hardback and audiobook versions...and I never buy hardback. If you like history, and especially Soviet era history, this is a must read! #nonfiction #Soviet #Disaster
