A fantastic (emotional) read, so glad my book club went to see the movie. The book is always better, but the movie did a good job of portraying the highlights.

An intriguing look at a perfumer's world, filled with family drama, secrets, and love triangles.

Insanely captivating and disturbing. The twists and actions in the plot were so horrendous you are disgusted but can't put the book down. Do not read while home alone at night...

Heartbreakingly beautiful. Despite a slow start waiting for the characters to fall in love, by the time they did I was hooked and couldn't put the book down. Especially interesting perspective from Italian immigrants during WWII that isn't often told.

Because when you go to @strandbookstore you can't ever just pick one
