Aside from putting "Do You Want To Build A Snowman" from Disney's Frozen on a perpetual loop in my head, Do You Want To Start A Scandal is a lovely, light Historical.
I really enjoyed watching the character growth and trying to solve the book's mystery.

#MyThreeFictionalCharacters
Bit of a toss up between whether to use Hermione Granger or Elizabeth Bennett.
Hermione won because we both have had frizzy hair.

So awesome!
As a loyal fan of the Kate Daniels series, this book was so rewarding!
I mean as a novel unto itself it's great. Excellent world building and characters with a stellar story.
However as a fan, this book is like the physical manifestation of Christmas, New Years and the Fourth of July (would've said Canada Day, but that's too sedate for my metaphor.).
Just...so awesome.

Chachic I'm just about to start this! 8y

“Aslan" said Lucy "you're bigger".
"That is because you are older, little one" answered he.
"Not because you are?"
"I am not. But every year you grow, you will find me bigger".”

My 11 year old hates to read, but he'll sit and listen to an audiobook for hours.
We're almost done Prince Caspian, thanks to our local library and @OverDrive

Fanfare Books is an independent bookstore in Stratford, Ontario, Canada.
Aside from an anemic Romance section, Fanfare Books offers a ton of good books and gorgeous ambiance.
It's one of my scheduled stops when I'm in Stratford. #getindie

Last of the books for my niece's baby's nursery, I'm Dirty is a super fun book. Incorporating counting, read aloud noises, and fantastic illustrations, I'm Dirty is as fun to read as it is to have read to you.
Had to buy this as I got tired of having to say I'm Dirty to our local librarian with a straight face.
Available as a paperback or board book.

Mehso-so

I think I'm the only person who didn't LOVE this book.
I wasn't crazy about the pacing and found myself questioning Kulti's fixation on Sal.
There were also issues the main character Sal had, that suddenly just disappeared without any real resolution except her deciding the issue in question simply wasn't a big deal.
Don't get me wrong, I liked Kulti, but I didn't love it like so many others did.
