Mehso-so

Mmmmmm...I loved the Alias series but this? Pregnant Jessica Jones and family life has little to do with the character we met on Aliathe previous series. And yeah, she loves Luke Cage but the rest of it felt weird.
The soty involves several well known heroes and it's a bit of a mash up. That I liked and the villain was entertaining but that's about it. I'm going to read the new adaptation (the one from the TV show) now.

Luke and Jessica may not be the #bestparents in a Ward and June Clever sort of way, but they're putting forth a heroic amount of effort. #OctPhotoChallenge

I haven't read the comics but Kilgrave was amazing in the show. David Tenant was brilliant! #FaveVillian #PhotosForSept

jmtrivera David Tennant is always brilliant! 8y
Ruri_kaichou @jmtrivera true! But this ride particularly brilliant! 8y

#MyThreeFictionalCharacters
Bit of a toss up between whether to use Hermione Granger or Elizabeth Bennett.
Hermione won because we both have had frizzy hair.

No where near as good as the Alias series. and I really, really, really want Brian Michael Bendis to give her up and let a female writer do a brand new run of Jessica Jones. I had to give this major 😒 a few times.

#JessicaJones #comics #LukeCage

Erin01 Same, I'd like to see Bendis step away from this project but I doubt he's going to, which is too bad because I think JJ would really flourish under the eye of a female writer or at least a creative team with some representation. I know he was planning on writing a new series about JJ, have you heard anything about this?

Work has my brain all scrambled today, so I'm going with a comic for #lunchtimereading 😎

Hornsby78 Are you watching the show too? It's currently one of my very favorites. #ComicBookNerd 8y
SarahSaysRead @Hornsby78 Of course! Loved it. And I cannot wait for Luke Cage! 8y
Hornsby78 Me either! I am generally a DC girl and was racking my brain as to why I knew the Luke Cage character because I was POSITIVE I had never read anything thing with him in it. I started Googling and remembered- AVENGERS! I saw the character on the movie! Duh. 8y
