Just started this on my flight this morning. It is already so emotional that I was grateful for a DQ break on my way to next gate. Who I am kidding? I am always grateful for DQ! Back to reading!!!

This trio of tales was hypnotic, frightening and so very sad. I have mixed feelings about content but loved the author's style and language!!!

I loved this coming of age story about Loo. We learn about her life and her father's from twelve bullets. Some will see a lot of violence. I saw a lot of love just not all traditional.

This is a lovely summer read which engaged all my senses. The smell of the ocean, the taste and smell of the food and the beautiful colors of the town. It wasn't a great book but I would recommend it for an afternoon at the beach. Thanks Net Galley for the early read.
