Ok so ummm YoSaffBridge; my favorite #villain in the ‘Verse, didn‘t traditionally originate in comic book form, but her backstory is being read via that medium.

Well, I was going to go with the debonair and dastardly Count Fosco, but he‘s already been feted for his devilry, so I‘m going to choose the lovely and lethal Lydia Gwilt from Wilkie Collin‘s Armadale for my #villain. She‘s smart, beautiful, charming, and ruthlessly manipulative. Even as she smiles seductively, she‘s plotting murder. Collins still manages to make her well-rounded and even sympathetic at times.
I always have trouble picking a #villain because, like Jane Bennett, I try to find the good in people (at least fictional people) and try to consider their reasons and motivations for their behavior. However, I think it‘s pretty clear that Ambrosio more than earns the title of villain.
