#PROUST2026 Reading Schedule

Let me know if you want to be tagged 🙃

Editions I‘m using https://www.penguinrandomhouse.com/series/SLT/in-search-of-lost-time/

I‘m apprehensive- but I want to read these and I need a 2026 goal 🫣

I‘ll try to post helpful hints as we go, check-ins etc…After each book I will try to have a small discussion as well.

All welcome to join the #BuddyRead.

ImperfectCJ @thebookhippie Please add me to the tag list. My teen would be SO IMPRESSED with me if I read Proust, and your reading schedule makes it seem doable. 2d

#proust2026 @TheBookHippie ....

So, in planning for my 2026 chunkster read, I recall you posting something about this. I have thought about it, shared with Matt, and both he and I are interested in traveling this path with you in 2026 if you are still game. I can only promise that we'll try! Are you still planning on this, and what can I do to help? 💚💙♥️

TheBookHippie Yes!!! I think I have the schedule worked out- just going to look at it one more time ! 2d

DrSabrinaMoldenReads @TheBookHippie I am gonna love hearing your perspective in comparison to Les Mis since I read this first 2d
Tkimsal I read part 1 years ago and loved it but it was a challenge. I bought the others but never got back to them. I still intend to someday but next year is already locked for me. I hope you go for it and love it! 2d

dabbe @Tkimsal I'm a bit intimidated! 🫂 2d
DrSabrinaMoldenReads @dabbe @Tkimsal @TheBookHippie This is my take. Every bit of every book was worth it. But I think in stream of consciousness. There is a nugget on every page that hits you in your thoughts and in your heart and when it happened, I sometimes would stop and stare at the wall. There are some scenes I will never forget but for me it‘s all about what was going on in the Narrator‘s mind, not ever what he said or did. Did I love these books? Ummm… (edited) 1d
