Sorry, not sorry, for any potential spamming of your feed with pictures of the Czech Republic. This is Cesky Krumlov, a beautiful town with an extraordinary castle. It was in this town that I found the Czech editions of the Harry Potter series. Had I had any room in my pack, I would've bought them all. #setineasterneurope #picbyme

BookBabe Quite quaint! 😊 7y
Cinfhen So beautiful 😍 7y
James Wow, is that the view from your room? Very nice. 7y

UwannaPublishme Breathtaking view! 😍👍🏻 7y
MyNamesParadise I want to go back to Eastern Europe so badly. Poland and the Czech Republic- although now they officially refer to it as Czechia- are so beautiful and filled with so much history. I preferred these countries to Germany and the Netherlands (I did a month long study abroad trip in Jan 2014 called The Holocaust Journey & we went to those 4 countries) 7y
Godmotherx5 I've wanted to go to Prague for years. More so since my husband is 1/2 Czech 7y
LauraBrook This makes me miss Prague so stinking much!!! 7y
Gissy Beautiful place with full of history! I visited some places with sad stories. What can I say, everyone that could have the opportunity go and visit Prague!!! 7y
Varske We spent New Year there (Cesky Krumlov) in 1989/90 when everything was just changing. We couldn‘t find a last minute hotel in Prague so went there instead. 6y

This book is an important read right now. That being said, this is the challenge I've been waiting for my entire life. Back in 1993, my father was allowed to take the family on sabbatical with him to Prague. I was just 4 but it was the most wonderfully life-altering experience of my life. Prague is the most beautiful city and it will forever be my second home. I got to go back w/hubby in January & it's still as amazing as ever, w/the best beer

Cinfhen True, the beer is amazing and cheap!!! 7y
MyNamesParadise So gorgeous...omg take me with you!! 7y

LauraBrook Yes, that beer is amazing! Plus, some of my favorite art is from there, purchased in the markets. And a garnet ring. And crystal vase. And... 7y
Gissy I have amazing photos from there! I definitely will read the book you are recommending in this section. Historically it was so hard for people from Prague to survive the terrible experiences during World War II and then Stalin! Once you know this fact then you will understand their culture! I'm nostalgic now 😢 7y
Gissy Is that Charles Bridge! El puente de Carlos. It is beautiful during the night and so colorful during the day full of locals and tourists. It was almost 3 years since I visited Prague after I ran in a marathon in Berlin! 7y

Ok so this book sucked. I got it for free at a hostel in NZ to read to my husband as he drove us around the South Island. BUT it went into such depth about Princeton University that I couldn't wait to go visit (I love going to college campuses & going to every Ivy League school is on my bucket list [so far I've been to 4]). This is Firestone Library, Princeton's main library. #funfridayphoto #library #PicByMe

LectricSheep I went there for undergrad! When you go, make sure you also go to the rotunda in East Pyne, which is literally right next to Firestone. The rotunda is also a beautiful library and a great reading/study spot (there's a cafe in the basement). 8y
Alisnazzy @LectricSheep I wish I had known about this! I thought the campus was stunningly gorgeous, but my son started having a toddler tantrum so I didn't get to explore quite as much as I would've liked 😔 8y
LectricSheep @ambrosnazzy Oh I see, you already went! Campus is beautiful this time of year. :) 8y
Alisnazzy @LectricSheep I would've loved to go inside Firestone, but most college libraries these days only allow current students or alumni in so I had to settle for taking a pic of the outside. But the architecture was so beautiful, I didn't mind lol. I also got to a bookstore across the street as well that had some really good book sales going on. Princeton was 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼 8y
LectricSheep Labyrinth! That bookstore is the best. I've driven out there (I live in Philly now) just for the bookstore. If you ever wanna go back, let me know-- I can give you allllll the details about the best food and ice cream. :) 8y
