“Create a story for which you would be proud.” [Josie]. As I sit here on my patio reading in this beautiful weather, this quote was one I needed to hear. #lostgirlsofparis #pamjenoff #createyourownstory

1946 Manhattan. About friendship and courage centered around 3 women and a ring of female secret agents during WWII. Grace Healy finds an abandoned suitcase at Grand Central Terminal with photos of woman who never returned home from the war. Grace is determined to find out what happened to them. Inspired by true events. Thought-provoking and captivating. Told from 3 POV. Jenoff shows how government barters with individual‘s lives. Recommended.

Finished. An unknown to me war story of women who helped the war effort, but of which so little is known. Pam Jenoff doesn‘t disappoint and provides further reading suggestions for the real story behind this historical fiction. Google Vera Atkins. #pamjenoff#paris

Today's #womenshistoryreads pick is a brilliant new bestseller (pictured here in the Mobile AL airport, where I spotted it on #booktour.) Jenoff has a talent for placing you right in the action - in this case, that means soaring from a trapeze, sobbing in the snow, choosing who to trust with your life, and more. Don't miss it. #historicalfiction #histfic #pamjenoff #ww2 #circus
