Thanks for your patience folks! There have been some family issues I‘ve been dealing with along with all the normal life things that have taken away from my Litsy time the past few weeks. But...I just wrapped these up and they will be mailed out tomorrow! @AmyG @shendrix413 @2BR02B @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks #OneIsTheLoneliest
Finally getting started watching the Olympics! We had to sign up for a Hulu trial ‘cause no one else would let us stream the coverage without a paid TV service. Also continuing my #LetsGetGraphicMonthlyFeature during the commercials with some Batman and friends GNs grabbed from the library! And who is more of a loner than the Dark Knight? Especially as Scrooge in the tagged book! #OneIstheLoneliest#
Congratulations @Elle_Skeldon 🎂💕🎈👏🏻🎊
I think of Zhadist as the loner brother in the Blackgagger Brotherhood... With a past full of suffering and humiliation, anger was his only companion until he rescues beautiful Bella ❤️
#giveaway thank you for the opportunity!!! ❤️❤️
I‘m starting to sound like a broken record but Robin Hobbs‘ books seem to fit the bill for so many things. My favorite loner is The Fool/Beloved/Amber/Lord Golden of the Farseer/Elderlings books. He/she is by their very nature a loner. They have too many secrets and hidden agendas to really let anyone in. Not to mention that they up and disappear and take on a new persona periodically. #OneIsTheLonliest#
My #OneIsTheLoneliest# is Sal Paradise from On the Road. That character is such a shy individual with a need to be on the road (similar to myself in many ways). It is no wonder that Dean Moriarty fascinates him so with his free spirit ways. Awesome giveaway question! @Elle_Skeldon
Congrats on the milestone, and thanks for the awesome #giveaway, @Elle_Skeldon!
My favorite outsider is Marji from Persepolis. As a budding young freethinker and feminist coming of age during the Islamic Revolution, Marji risks not only society's disapproval, but her own safety and security to be true to herself in the face of violent totalitarianism.
My favorite lone character- is Sarah of Longbourn. It‘s been a while since I read this book- but her strength and determination through even the loneliest of times was inspiring and beautiful. She pales only to Jane Erye- who is my hero in every aspect and who I could also choose for this.
The writer captured this story beautifully!!!! ❤️ #giveaway 😍🙌🏻 thanks for throwing a giveaway!
