This book was good, you could tell it was published in 1995. I hate that i cant fully update it on goodreads.

A weekend reading update. Finished and loved both of these! 🤞🤞 I can get through one more today.
While this fourth installment of #TheRegencyVowsSeries may have the slowest start to date, by the end, I really enjoyed it! The J-name heroes have been traded in for a Jane heroine here as Diana‘s brother finds himself in a marriage of convenience to his uncle‘s ward in exchange for the family estate he has been obsessed with acquiring! Though the Cornwall estate may be haunted, there‘s also camaraderie built on fear… This is a fun & sweet series!
I found this book so much fun to read. The characters were so different from each other but went so well together. I have had this on my radar for so long and I am glad I finally got to it. I‘m giving this book a 4.5 because I did find it a little wordy. It kind of felt like the author wanted to hit a certain number of words to publish this book. Overall a fun read.
I loved all the mysteriousness and tension in this dark mafia romance. I liked how total opposite the two MCs were and yet how they worked so well together. I want to read more books like this. 4 ⭐️

Currently reading Sweet Temptation (tagged). A Mafia romance featuring an arranged marriage and an age gap between the two MCs.
The best fitting song I can think of is A Matter of Trust by Billy Joel. In the song a man admits he is not perfect but will try to be for her and vice versa.

A gay man and an asexual woman marry. Why? Dunno. You can assume social pressure, but there is not much of a story, so far. As the first volume, it was mostly character introductions and back stories, but the main characters are very endearing. I don't normally seek out manga, but I'm interested in continuing this story.
This was a great slow burn sports romance. For some reason I love the marriage of convenience trope.
