Probably in the minority here, and I‘m a little surprised as I‘ve liked everything else I‘ve read by Solomon…. But absolutely nothing in this book was unexpected or surprising. Loved the setting, everything else was okay or unoriginal. That‘s harsh, but an exciting setting isn‘t enough. #bookspinbingo #bookspin
A young woman gets a second chance at life and love in Amsterdam.
I pretty much loved everything about this book! A solid second chance at love romance. And now I want to visit Amsterdam even more than I already did!

#pop25 - book that fills a 2024 prompt I‘d like to do over {a book set in a travel destination on my bucket list}

Solomon is one of my favorite romance authors, and I really enjoyed her newest book!
I‘ve spent some time in Amsterdam, and this was such a love letter to that city, where Solomon now lives, too.
I didn‘t love the final conflict, even though I knew it was coming, but I did like the second chance romance & the marriage of convenience tropes.
Definitely one I‘d recommend for a spicy romance read!

Excited for this one! My pick for June for #fictionaltraveler!
I enjoyed this so much! It's a trope-based romance but doesn't expect the tropes to do all the work. The characters are very real and imperfect, which just makes their tender care for each other all the more romantic. And Amsterdam sounds so amazing... can I go please?
