Happiness is as elusive as a butterfly, and you must never pursue it. If you stay very still, it might come and settle on your hand. But only briefly. Savour those precious moments, for they will not come your way very often.#Ruskinbond #notesfromasmallroom #weekendreading #sunday #lockdown

Reading in the car while on my break at work. Cant put this book down. This is what you call a lockdown, not the pathetic attempt we're currently in. #Lockdown

Day 31 - #IfYouLikedThis #Contagion

#YoullLikeThisBook - #Lockdown

Peter May is one of my favorite authors. He wrote this book in 2005 set in London, about a global pandemic. It was a city in total lockdown. A virus was claiming thousands of lives. The scenario described wasn‘t drawn from his imagination. It was based on detailed pandemic planning done by both the British and the Americans in the early 2000s. Nobody thought it would come true.

Klou Wow, sounds good. Great choice! Thank you for playing along this month!! 1y
EadieB @Klou You're welcome! It was lots of fun! 1y
dragondrool 😊I was intrigued, so I checked this book out on Amazon. The Kindle edition is only 99 cents right now. Nice!

A little #lockdown humor from the local brewpub.

TrishB Our pub opens at 6pm on Fridays 😁 1y
Catherine_Willoughby No pubs opened here - unless your having a meal lol. Had my first drink in 6 months at home last Saturday. Now sick 😔. Hopefully by Saturday I can enjoy the drink I brought last week! 1y

Good Morning. It's time for #CoverLove.

This July we are looking at YA. There is not as much as usual as many books got pushed back past October because of #lockdown. But it means time for some lesser knowns to get their big break.

First up is book 3 in the House of Furies horror series. I have book one but haven't read it, but my compatriots are excited for this continuation.

Out TODAY!

I have finally finished my twelfth book of #lockdown this one took me so long as I‘m finally back to work and I was struggling to get a routine back, I‘m happy to say I‘ve finally managed it and read the last half of the book so much faster. I enjoyed the book a lot and it definitely wasn‘t what I was expecting from reading the blurb. I‘ve read a number of Jodi Picoult books before and although this isn‘t a personal favourite I did like it

I absolutely loved my eleventh book of #lockdown so glad my mum included it in the box of books she‘s given me to keep me going. I found the book so gripping and difficult to put down, I was actually dreaming about it sometimes. I loved the ending, I really couldn‘t fault the book at all. Love love love it!! I‘ll definitely be reading more #BAParis
