This has been a very frustrating couple of weeks for me, reading wise. Reading slumps suck.
Mira Grant's Newflesh series is my favorite series of all-time, but I haven't liked anything else I've tried by her (as Grant or as Seanan McGuire). But, this sounds unique and it's a novella. Hopefully it will not disappoint.

Samantha.1020 If you do like this one, I thought Into The Drowning Deep by her was pretty great ( it‘s the first book in this series). Or heck, just reread the Newsflesh trilogy- it is always great to read! 6y

Damn, you guys. This was super intense. So much horrifying but you just can't stop reading. I'm hoping there will be a sequel but I don't know how Mira could top the frightening anticipation.
