I had to get a little vague on this one. Iron Widow was one of the first book from my TBR this month so I‘m excited to finally be able to get to it 😍 #thingsincommon

I love the way Ms. Delany tells a story. Her descriptive style paints wonderful pictures of time and place and brings her characters to life. It was so easy to escape into this story.

A Three Book Problem was a splendid who-dun-it with engaging characters full of twists and turns.

Enjoy our MC always solving the mystery through observations and clues instead of just stumbling into the murderer. Side characters are well fleshed out and I always love when Pippa stops by. But, I will say that the Ashleigh subplot annoyed me a bit. Not the whole overall, because that was super easy to guess right away, but the whole over reaction portion.
A Curious Incident is a wonderful addition to this series. I was entertained from the first page to the last.

The sixth book in a series featuring bookshop owner, Gemma Doyle. Gemma is hired by 10-year old, Lauren to prove that her mother did not kill her garden club rival. This series is like a comfortable sweatshirt.
Gemma and the gang head to London for a Sherlock convention. The trip is immediately derailed when Gemma‘s father recognizes his brother-in-law who turns out to be a master art forger and later turns up dead. Gemma‘s father is the number suspect and it is up to her and her friends to clear his name before it is too late. This is a solid cozy series with a great supporting cast.
Another solid instalment in the Sherlock Holmes Bookshop Mysteries.
