BookBumming Five star read! Scandi Noir novel, The Boy At The Door by Alex Dahl.
I think being a parent made this book a little more horrifying than I may have found it if I didn‘t have a child. The main narrator (the story is told from 3 different perspectives) is extremely unlikeable and painfully unreliable..which only adds to the suspense and thrill of it all!! 5y

BookBumming Alex Dahl being born in Oslo, the capital of Norway, has surely given her a knack for painting a stunning Scandinavian backdrop. After finishing the novel I feel like Alex Dahl truly took me to the places that her characters went whether I wanted to be there or not.
