Very enjoyable Young T'Challa and even younger Shuri graphic novel adventure, with a great sibling dynamic.

This is a weird book. The best character was Kristen, the dead wife. The best relationship was Levi and Kristen, his dead wife 😂

It isn't a marriage of convenience. Levi is blackmailed into it. Makes it hard to like the characters or want them together.

The plot made no sense in general. It didn't do it for me.

Booksblanketsandahotbeverage Ugh, too bad.. I love her Irish and Whiskey series 3w
PuddleJumper @Booksblanketsandahotbeverage I'll give her another go, it was the characters that I didn't like 😅 3w

A unique Beauty and the Beast retelling: Maisie is determined to find a cure for her sister‘s aging sickness, even if it means venturing into the forbidden Doove forest controlled by the dark Fairy Queen and squaring up to darklings and fae alike to obtain a rose that blooms only once in a blue moon, which promises unmatched beauty to any who claim its power. Definitely continuing the series, loved it! 4.5/5

This is one of the better cozy mysteries I've read, not too corny and cheesy. Riches to rags, Mae arrives at her only asset left, a run down RV park that she's determined to fix up and sell. She befriends a small town group of quirky characters and a small hint of a romance. Definitely will read book #2

This was a fun quick beauty and the beast retelling without any curses, set in Victorian times. It was cute and sweet and I love that Chips character was included because he is my favorite.

This isn't the best mystery novel, but it was quick and fun. I had strangely never heard of this author before I bought this book at Atlantis Books in Rotorua, New Zealand last year. #7 (Roll 2) of #Roll100 @PuddleJumper

I have been on a cozy mystery kick lately and this series about Mae West, owner of Happy Trails Campground, and her friends The Laundry Club Ladies solving mysteries in Normal, KY were fun cozy reads 🥰

This poor book! I don't think any of the posts about it are actually about it. 😂

Nothing wrong with this, it just wasn't holding my interest. I probably would've finished the audiobook except one of the narrators put way too much emphasis on everything and it irritated me.
