Much #hubris occurs between the image and the quote. Action involving Neville (yay), giants and centaurs (woo hoo), Molly (girl power), and Gawp (HAGGER!!). But quiet revelatory moments too--master of the elder wand, remorse, and our Severus. The scene with the portraits is almost too much to witness. It's such a perfect closing chapter. Oh, there's one more...

I've searched for two days for an image that I liked, and even if this is hunting horcruxes, and not set at the Kings Cross Station, I still like its feeling. #choice for Harry is hard--peace and warmth, or back to loss and grief. But his discussions with Albus here help us all find some closure and comfort. Such humility from his favourite professor.

I have shied away from picking manga fan art, because they are sometimes too pretty or too happy, but this chapter! Needs all the pretty and the happy I can find. So many poignant lines... it's interesting to note the four people who come to support Harry. Who else could have appeared? I love Harry for his acceptance and his #sacrifice and of course his #love.

I don't know. I still find myself looking back at Snape's treatment of (not only) Harry, and can't quite forgive him. Shocking, right? There is poignancy here, no doubt. And how much #power does Dumbledore hold over almost everyone? There's a revelation.

The title of #chapterthirty references Snape's choices, and the theme of #pride relates to the way the teachers feel about defending, and the defenders of Hogwarts, and maybe the feelings towards Percy by all the other Weasleys, but it's the image of HRH rescuing their long-time enemies that stick with me. The losses are going to pile up, and I can hold off the grief for a while longer.

Even now, at the point of #revolution, Harry's natural inclination is to STILL go it alone. He thinks it's all up to him. Thankfully Ron & Hermione are there to guide him. But a full scale war? A plan to outwit evil adults? That's not something Harry ever believed was his job.

I want to believe there was a time when the Dumbledore brothers looked at each other like this, with mischief and #trust.. Much of Albus's life was rife with regret for what happened. We know it impacted on his attitude to his students--his patience & compassion, and now Harry has some insight into what drove him.

Let's finish this, Harry!! Your #trust in him served you well.

Oh the #rage So much that Harry can easily check in and not be noticed. It's interesting to note that the trio didn't even take into account the possibility that Griphook would counter-double-cross. Even at their most deceptive, they are still trusting and naive. I am glad the dragon is free.

This very busy and admittedly not very pretty picture reflects the #chaos of the chapter, but what struck me most about the visit to #Gringotts, is how lucky Harry and Ron are to have Hermione. Her intelligence, her quickness, and her magical prowess have never been more impressive. Was rescuing the dragon just a bonus?
