Catching up with my bookkeeping (haha), I realized the tagged book completed my #COVID19challenge - number in the title. Also gave me my third bingo on the social distancing bingo card - only five spaces left! I‘m also 2/3 through my fourth book of #bookspinbonanza and am hoping to devote more time to #nutsinMay this week. Whew!

Lost In Translation: A Life in a New Language | Eva Hoffman

First finish of #24B4Monday puts me at 4:13!

This memoir is interesting but can be hard to follow through jumps in time and place. The first 2/3 were better than the last, which gets into psycho-babble and existential musing.

Completes I for my #COVID19challenge - informative (non-fiction)
#triplespin done - I did all 3 for #bookspin this month (plus 2 others from my stack, which all pales in comparison to May‘s challenge)

Not a perfect read but exactly what I needed. I love Christina Skye‘s historical and Draycott Abbey books. She was my first romance writer and I‘ll always love her books (except for the weird contemporary line I try to forget). This is my Comfort Read for my #COVID19challenge which puts me at 2/3!

Silver owns a lavender farm and is being threatened by mysterious men. Luc is a highwayman who may be both her salvation and more than he seems.

ravenlee Good golly! Just a number in the title left, good on you! I disliked the book I thought would be a comfort read, so I‘m rereading an old favorite instead. It put me a little behind, but as there‘s no end in sight I guess I‘m good. 4y

I can‘t seem to post anything in a timely fashion these days! Well, my #EasterExtravaganza update is fair to middling: I finished House of Hades and the wretched Nancy Drew, and started the tagged book for a comfort read (for my #COVID19challenge)/one-word title (for my bingo card), but it‘s dragging. No audio progress, so I‘m 1/3 on my goals. Been a busy week with no me-time.

ravenlee Thanks @Andrew65 it feels like it shouldn‘t be this hard - husband is working some normal days and home others, still homeschooling, still doing all the Suzie Homemaker duties, but it all seems to be taking up more time than usual. 🤷🏻‍♀️ 4y

ravenlee Glad to be of service! 😁 Honestly, I just wanted something that was a little challenging but not over the top. So many of the quarantine reading challenges I‘ve seen are both really long and require some concentration that I just don‘t have right now. I can stretch a little on either of those things but not both at the same time! 4y

I just love these books. I‘m eager to finish the series, but I‘m going to wait a bit and read something else to savor longer. Saving the extra stories for later, too.

This was my #doublespin @TheAromaofBooks and this month is going much better than last! This is also my D - Daring for my #COVID19challenge. Another square done on my bingo card, weapon on the cover. AND I‘ve climbed Mt Vancouver for my unofficial Mount TBR challenge!
