Overall, this was a pretty interesting and engaging story about the history of bourbon and some of the characters who helped shape it. I‘ve been going a bit overboard since having hit the bourbon trail in Kentucky last summer! 🥃 4/5

This was a very good read, lots of history, lots of science, and a ton of new alcohols that I want to try. The author covers the science of how to make alcohol; the history of certain types of alcohol, the science of a hangover (a lot we still don‘t know) and a bit about the science of alcoholism. Really interesting! 4/5 stars
