Ink and Bone | Lisa Unger

so-so

Finished this psychological thriller while #audiocleaning and #audiomealprepping today. This genre is not my favorite, and this book was not able to hold my attention. The climax was not very climatic, and I found myself bored with the story with a hour left of the audio. But I did like the author's writing style, and I think fans of the genre would enjoy it more than I did.

#GIRLBOSS | Sophia Amoruso

I finished this audiobook in one afternoon of #audiomealprepping.
Before this book, I had never heard of Nasty Gal Vintage, or Sophia Amoruso, and I am not really interested in the fashion world. But I thought Sophia gave good advice, in general. She talked about being a woman in a "man's world", how to be a good employee/boss, how to manage your money. I especially enjoyed her chapters on intentional thinking.

Stardust | Neil Gaiman

#audiomealprepping this morning. Making breakfast sandwiches for the week and starting Stardust. It's not my first foray into Gaiman's writing but my first audiobook of his AND it's narrated by him!

Erinsuereads He is one of my favorite narrators. Stardust is a great one to start with too. It has so much going in and his voice fits the mood of the book perfectly 6y

LoverofLit @ErinSueG I had a hard time choosing between this one and Neverwhere but @sammisho encouraged Stardust of the two and I am so happy I did. His voice is soothing and kind of sexy 😍 Definitely a great start! 6y

Erinsuereads @LoverofLit I COMPLETELY AGREE!!! Neverwhere is fantastic too but Stardust is definitely a much better one to start with. It is a much cleaner and easy to follow story. 6y

Stalking Jack the Ripper | Kerri Maniscalco

Meal prep Sundays are my favorite. There is something soothing about opening up my freezer and seeing all my meals ready for the week. And I really want #audiomealprepping to be a thing.

Hollie I just meal prepped my lunches for the week. I‘ve really got to get better about doing that so I take my lunch instead of buying! 6y

sammisho @Seekingtardis I love it! Especially with both my kids in after school activities, it is so nice to have healthy meals prepared and not hit drive thur's all the time. I have only been doing it for a couple of months,but it is a game changer. It is easier than I expected it to be. 6y

sammisho @Beckys_Books I find it relaxing and fun. I am a weirdo! And doing this makes my work week go by so much smoother and means I can spend time with my kids in the evenings. Plus I only do it every other Sunday. There are a lot of things I find less enjoyable that don't get done on weekends. Laundry seems to get finished before Monday morning! 6y
