panI 😍Reid's #Winstons but this early novel from her #knittinginthecity series is exasperating. It reads like a Grey's Anatomy fanfic:what happens to whatshername when a Danny-like teen love dies? Spoiler: she refuses to grow up, sleeps with men she hates, and is a dick to her childhood family friend/ first lover, who is,unfathomably, in love with her and insists that they belong together. But as an academic, I find it rich for analysis. #romantsy
