megnews Four Winds I keep meaning to get to. I‘ve also started a list of 2022 releases. I can‘t imagine I‘ll do much better on them but it‘s worth adding them for later anyway. 😂 2y

My favorite genre is historical fiction. Last year I put together this list of 2021 new releases I wanted to read. Only read 4 and started 1! I‘ve never been good at new releases or sticking to a tbr but Litsy has improved that some. Did you plan to get to something this year and just didn‘t? Roary47 I really try to stick to a list. I‘m still trying to read 2015 books I‘ve added though. 😅I don‘t normally read new ones since I‘m still trying the older ones. I only read new books with a book club or buddy read. The new books just get added to the pile. 🤣 2y

megnews @Roary47 that‘s always been my issue. I still have so many backlist books to get to I usually just add new ones to the pile and they aren‘t new anymore by the time I get to them. 😂 2y

Butterfinger Each year I want to read new ones just to see if they deserve awards, but the old ones call me more. 2y

bthegood I usually end up reading new ones a year or two later due to using the library over buying books - which works well since by that time I have looked at reviews and know if I still want to read it - 😂 2y
