One of my all-time favorite poems. I taught this poem after my students read THE ODYSSEY; of course the ladies LOVED it. Wonder why? 🤔🤣😊

dabbe @IndoorDame I always loved reading it out loud to the kids. I would say every line very carefree (trying to imitate Odysseus and the sea) ... then I'd spew vitriol with the last line, emphasizing one word: They will call HIM brave. Oh, the power of poetry and drama!❣️ 1y
