This was the first book I ever bought with my own money. Shout out to the Scholastic Book Fair! ❤️ I saved up so much babysitting money, and I devoured this whole series.

The small, overlooked, seemingly meek creatures actually being courageous warriors capable of saving their communities? Yeah, I really needed that as a kid. ❤️

#SundayFunday I hope you all have a great day and don‘t forget to tag me!

With the success of Redwall in our house, I figured we might as well get the next few installments. We‘re going to need another bookshelf because this series doesn‘t quit.

thelorelei I think I made it through Lord Brocktree before going to college and not being able to fit unlimited hardback books in my subsequent small dorm rooms and apartments. I am beYOND excited to revisit these with my kids. 3w

What to do when the kiddo gets sick two days into vacation? Stick him in bed with Redwall and hope it passes quickly.

“Don't be ashamed to weep; 'tis right to grieve. Tears are only water, and flowers, trees, and fruit cannot grow without water. But there must be sunlight also. A wounded heart will heal in time, and when it does, the memory and love of our lost ones is sealed inside to comfort us.”

I finished this recently on audiobook. Loved it. I will be listening to more of the series whenever I need a pick me up. Though I also find it weird that animals fighting would feel charming to me.

BookmarkTavern I have this exact same copy of this book! It‘s one of my favorite comfort reads. 4mo
bookishbitch @BookmarkTavern I completely understand the hype. 4mo
BookmarkTavern I love the audiobooks because Jacques does the narration, around a full cast, himself in almost all the audiobooks. It‘s such a joy to hear him read. 4mo
bookishbitch @BookmarkTavern that is why I love the audiobook as well! 4mo

I finally found earbuds I don't hate. Bluetooth, over the ear and they have control buttons on them. Also, I highly recommend this in audiobook form. The author reads it, and there is a cast as well. I read another one of the series years ago and enjoyed it tremendously. This is the first book of the series and I am loving it.

Literally any of the feasts in the Redwall series. Jacques always manages to make everything sound so delicious I feel like if I take a deep enough breath I could smell everything.

#SundayFunday Have a safe and happy day, and don‘t forget to tag me in your posts!

PuddleJumper Those books had the best food descriptions. Everything sounded amazing. I do have the recipe book but haven't cooked from it 😅 5mo

I last read this a couple of decades ago, but it felt like a brand-new read. Kept me turning the pages quickly!

This is a really great book, the plot is interesting and there‘s a lot of characters that all have their own personalities and roles to play. There are scenes that show the villains perspective and planning, it makes it clear that he is a serious threat to the protagonists. I also like that despite being a book for younger readers, it‘s not afraid to show violence. I don‘t know if I‘ll read the rest of the series but I recommend this book.
