Highly recommended, a beauty to read about healing, Nature, the ancient wisdom of the Earth, and feminine power. Reconnect with Mother Nature with this inspiring book. Paulacappa.Wordpress.com #amreading #nature #mothernature

Two books about #MotherNature.

On the left: Benjamin Perkins, Trees.
On the right: W. Keble Martin, The Concise British Flora in Colour.

Both second or even third hand.

Very recently published in the US, and one on my radar to read this year...the big Alaska earthquake in 1964 changed the understanding of geology. Also helps that it's compared to Erik Larson's writing style (I'm a Larson fan). #mothernature #beastsgiveawaychallenge

27 years in the woods, living as a hermit, Christopher Knight had to learn to survive and coexist with Mother Nature. It was so fascinating to see how a human could possibly survive these conditions. #beastsgiveawaychallenge #mothernature
