Got #BookMail yesterday.

The middle two Becky Chambers - read the first one a few weeks ago and have an ARC of the fourth, as well as a pre-order for a signed copy.

Won the Boris Koch fantasy - it's in German. Love the hand drawn card depicting a fool. The bookshop thought they had messed up and maybe already sent a copy. 😁 They didn't.

The #buddyread book gets its own post. 😉

julesG @RachelO Thanks for thinking of me. I feel terrible right now. It's the cold turkey withdrawal and I know it will get better. Still. Every fibre of my body is screaming in agony. My walking hasn't got better yet, but it's early days. I need to remember to give my body time to heal. 6y

We went to my daughter's dance performance yesterday. Her group was the first on stage, only four girls and an audience of about 150 people.
Afterwards we went to the bookstore and then the kiddos had candy floss.
Kiddos took home a book each. Em wanted the tagged book, since I didn't want to buy Outlander (in German) for her. (She's too young for Outlander, maybe also for Miss Peregrine.) EJ got an Assassin's Creed novel.

julesG @scripturient I had to promise to get her Outlander for her 13th birthday at the latest. She wasn't shocked by the size of the book, nor the info that there are 7 or 8 more chunks terms She'd love to watch the whole show with me, but I don't think it's age appropriate. She was allowed to watch bits here and there, which she didn't mind to have to watch in English. She hates Black Jack for hitting Claire, swoons over Jamie and loves the scenery. 😉 6y
