I just learned about this site for free class ebooks.

Lcsmcat I LOVE this site! 2mo
AnneCecilie What @Lcsmcat said, this site had made it possible for me to participate in so many buddy reads in here. 2mo
SpellboundReader I often download Kindle versions from Project Gutenberg. Sadly Amazon has removed a lot of the free public domain ebooks and now only offers versions that cost $1 or more. I guess that makes more sense if a reader wants an annotated version.
Wikisource.org via Wikipedia also has quite a few public domain ebooks available to either read online or download a .PDF version.

The Wisdom of Gibran | Philosophical Library, Joseph Sheban

I picked up this nice little collection of Gibran's "aphorisms and maxims" from a dinky second hand bookshop, Berrydin Books (pun-tastic name!). I love the colours of the cover illustration.
The book is arranged as an A-Z collection of sayings culled from Gibran's works, which will, I think, make it handy to randomly dip into if I need a bit of inspiration ?

THIS!!! I do not understand people who think of their children as possessions. Equally, I do not get people who indoctrinate their children and don‘t want their children thinking anything differently than they think. Society has got to start seeing children as human beings.

I am absolutely gobsmacked that children can be entrapped and straight up lied to in schools in TX to get whatever info the school wants. This is NOT okay.
